Legendary figure was 68.
James Hamid, Sr., 68, passed away on January 29 at the home of Jim Hamid, Jr., where he had recently begun to receive hospice care.
Messages of condolence may be sent c/o Hamid Circus, 3016 Tremont Avenue, Egg Harbor Township, NJ 08234.
In a message to Circus Fans and friends, Jim Hamid, Jr., commented that he wished to thank everyone for condolences and thoughts.
A memorial service for Mr. Hamid is scheduled for Monday, February 3, at Jeffries and Keates Funeral Home, Tilton Road and Infield Avenue, 228 Infield Avenue, Northfield, NJ 08225. The 11 a.m. service will be followed by interment of the ashes in the family mausoleum at Laurel Memorial Park in Pomona, NJ.
