STAND UP now and SAVE THE CIRCUS....
The Los Angeles, California, City Council may soon pass a total ban on performing circus elephants in its city. See the Grassroots CFA legislative update to the immediate left on the CFA home page, and WRITE or CALL city council members to register your opposition. The New York Times published an article this week supposedly outlining what is at stake in this fight. But those who love the circus and support the appearance of elephants in the circus know that there are numerous falsehoods being perpetrated about the care, transportation, and presentation of elephants in circuses. We know the whole, true story. Circus elephants do receive the best of care, and the public should have the privilege of seeing these marvelous animals up close and in person.
STAND UP today and let the L.A. City Council hear your respectful but firm opposition to this harmful legislation.
